Looking for VFP programmer for long term!

I sure wish I could turn the clock back, but realize that I will be hitting the retirement stage way to early! I am Working for a great company who has committed to developing a whole new enterprise critical application in VFP9.0 and very supportive in anything that is necessary to accomplish the goal as quickly as possible. Started this project (complete re-write) in early 2007. Started implementation by mid 2007 with complete phase out of older system by Feb. of 2008. Now that we have had over 1 year and data to analysis and have seen an increase of approx. 78% increase of gross sales in that same period and projecting that we could match that growth in the next year. Things are looking good. Management is finally getting data to make sound business decisions and are excited to even do better and get more computerized (as they say) in the whole operation.

The project has been fun, exciting, and rewarding. Not the hassle of going through all kinds of hoops, but rather management brings up their desires and the rest is up to programmer to meet those goals. Have had the pressure of doing weekly payroll for 2,000 plus hourly employees working at different payrates for different clients on a weekly basis. Billing just as intensive where weekly billing is generated along with monthly generation of 1500's etc. Service area presently is in the whole state of Connecticut, with main office in Farmington and 9 rural offices. Each rural office is running a peer to peer with databases sychronizing with the main office database on a 24/7 basis. A challenge, but has been going very well. The really big benefit of working for this company is that is providing services to people in the communities who are so appreciative and thankful for the services we provide. With over 2500 clients in the state and employee pool around 4000 the task to find the match is a challenge but also rewarding when that combination is a success. The business is growing, stated 20 years ago as of the first in the state. The competition has increased to where there are presently over 300 similar and even with that increase of competitors, we have grown way past our expectations and project the same growth before we level off.

So why am I writing all about this? I went to the management a couple of months ago and asked what their long term goals are. The response was that before I was hired they relied on contract programmers to basically patch existing system and never got what they truely wanted. Now they have become spoiled and their comment was that there is "no way they will not have a programmer on staff from this point on". Since I am closing in on retirement and looking forward to phasing out of fulltime work and moving back to the midwest, the decision was to start looking for a replacement for me. They have advertised and had some interest (some no shows) and feeling that there must be that special someone out there who would fit in and take over. Of the interested people, the idea that someone would come in and completely re-do what is going on and fix all the problems kind of turns them off. They feel that with the success so far, they are looking for that special someone who would come in, learn the business, and take ownership of the projects. We do not expect anyone to instantly take over (I still would like to work until I am comfortable that who ever it is ready) but rather be involved with ongoing projects at the same time be an integral part of the team developing and improving what is in place at this time. Someone who likes VFP and continue support and developement for the next few years. Move to something better in the future? Yes, but not something that has to be done right now.

So my request is if anyone knows of somebody who would like a dream job like I have and would like further information, drop me a line and I would gladly discuss our operation and then it is up to them if they would like to apply. We are not interested in any recruiting, but rather want to work with the prospective developer directly.

Thanks in advance.
