A potential client wants to access some data from SQL Server. I have three questions about this:

Would it be problematic if I use the Express Edition for my tests, instead of the full-fledged SQL Server?

I see there are several versions of the Express Edition. Which one should I install? I don't think I need the advanced tools for a few initial tests. I see that, strangely, on the page http://www.microsoft.com/express/sql/download/ there is a download for the database engine, a download for management tools, and what looks like a combination of the two, "Runtime with Management Tools" - but strangely, the download size is almost twice the size of the individual components (first two columns) combined!

How do I get started in fetching (or writing) some sample data, from Visual FoxPro? This is not for interactive control by the user, so from what I heard, it would seem that SQL Pass-Through would be the option of choice.
