Title:
Environment for developing with SQL Server
I am developing a front-end application in VFP 5 where the back-end is SQL Server for a client.
Untill now i did all the work at my clients office. But because i do not need to be there very often anymore i want to be able to develop at my office. Does this mean i have to install SQL Server on a NT server at the office?
Or is it possible to have some edition of SQL Server 6.5 installed on a Windows 98 machine? Or is the only way to be able to develop with SQL Server as the back-end on a stand-alone machine to have Windows NT installed on that machine.
Might the developers edition of SQL Server (which comes with Visual Studio - Enterprise edition) be a solution?
Thanks,
Marco Beuk.
