I tried your suggestion, but it didn't help. I then copied the older version of URL.DLL into WINDOWS\SYSTEM and restarted Windows98.
Now everything works just fine. But it just doesn't feel right to replace a newer DLL with an older one, perhaps i will have other problems coming up ?.
But if this will give me more problems i can always switch back to the "newer" DLL-file.
