When you've not got much to hold onto politically you grasp at straws. The Republican right know they are nowhere for a couple of years so they come up with rubbish.

Only time will tell <s>. The 2010 elections may wind up kicking the Dems out of Congress. More and more people are against Obama's health care initiative. As a matter of fact, there are 24 blue dog Dems that are against this initiative - forget the Republicans <g>. Also, even Democrats are calling for Nancy Pelosi to step down.

Personally, I think that a lot of the Dems in Congress are getting very worried about being able to hold on to their jobs. The last time a Democratic president had a Democratic majority in Congress was during Bill Clinton's first term. Do you remember what happened then?
