I'm using VFP5.0a

This is the 1st time I've created a remote view and the 1st time I've used ODBC. I have 2 problems with it.

The connection is to a table in an MDB file.

1. EVERY time I try to use the remote view (drop in a form or just browse it) I have to point at the MDB file (it's on the A: drive). I can't find a way to define the connection or view to automatically find it.

2. After pointing at the MDB file, my CURDIR() has changed to A:

Am I doing something wrong? I can't find anything in the help file.
