Why should it be mapped outside ? It is just somewhere you need hands and feet twice to calc the power of two...LOL
I was referring to reduced RAM availability on some 4Gb machines running an x64 OS because of the need to map video card memory into memory space. I'd understood that theoretically under x64 the video card memory can be mapped into some other range, meaning that all your RAM can remain available. Certainly that's how it looks on my machine.
