I got a warning about lots of apps not being compatable with Vista and still installed them. Never had a problem. As for some of these others:

>Intel PROSet/Wireless
>ATI CATALYST Install Manager *
>ATI Catalyst Control Center *
>SigmaTel Audio Control Panel

Vista introduced a new driver model that basically required drivers to be rewritten.

SQL Server 2008 Runs fine on my install of Vista and Win7

>Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - not compatible with Windows 7 eh? Very nice. Very nice.

There's a new mobile connectivity area built into Vista and Win7.

>Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 *

Before griping about this stuff, learn why the the warnings are being raised.
