61% believe that the rich

Follow-up...I am sick and tired of this "the rich"....crap.

Do me a favor - define "rich". Then tell me BY WHAT RIGHT the government should be able to seize more of what "the rich" earns.

Invariably, anyone promoting this argument has an underlying axe to grind with those more successful than himself/herself. It's all about the culture of envy. It's always safe to denounce the rich - almost everyone will help you.

No self-respecting "rich" person believes that the govt should be able to turn around and seize a greater portion of their earnings by force.

If those who make "more" want to contribute more, fine....it is each person's right.

The best way to help "the poor" is not to become one. What this country needs is another Ragnar Danneskjold...a friend of the friendless...a man who does a reverse Robin Hood and gives back to the "rich" what's been taken from them.
