Halliday is one of those rare pitchers who, if he gives up a couple of hits on bad pitches, can say to himself, "Ok, enough of that" and go on to shut the batters down. He's always said, "One pitch at a time."

Halliday's stuff is NASTY....

IMO, two of the best pitchers in MLB are Halliday and Cliff Lee.

Here are Halliday's numbers since 2002.... aside from an injury-riddled 2004, the man has been a workhorse....a good ERA (especially in the American League), walks less than 2 per game, and fans close to a hitter an inning. And all this for a .500 team.
