Hi Tim,

I don't know if the image editor (IMAGEDIT.EXE) is included with the VS 6.0. You might what to do a search of the CDs for that file name. One came with Professional Editor of VFP 5.0. One comes with the current Win32 SDK package. It's really a rather old program (copyright 1992).

The version that I have doesn't support the 48x48 format, only 32x32 and 16x16. I'm wondering if the inclusion of that format isn't the problem. Perhaps the compiler doesn't "know" the right way to include it. If so, it runs contrary to the Win32 documentation: "Your application should supply icon resources in the following sizes:

48x48, 256 color
32x32, 16 color
16x16 pixels, 16 color"

At any rate, if you can't find the program on your CDs, try the MS site. You might be able to download it from there.

hth,
George
