I've had a SCSI hp-4020i for 2 and a half years. Great drive, no problems. We have a 6020i here at work that works great. We have some IDE CDRW that writes CD's that can NOT be read under DOS but work under Windows.

I always reccomend SCSI over IDE. CDR vs RW is up to you..
