i am currently using " Email and VFP: Part 1b (Outlook) " (Craig Boyd) and when Outllook (i am using office 2000) is set to MS Word editor the email generated works first time. subsequent times i get an error message 1429 which reads:

"OLE IDispatch exception code 4096 from MS Outlook: MS Wordmail could not be started." Then it asked to close any open dialog boxes in Word (which i suspect were created from the initial email - however there are no open boxes visible nor is the initial email still open). If i disable using Word as editor the problem disappears but i lose the options to embellish the email.

Any solutions would be appreciated. Perhaps code for 'closing ms word' would work - how would i do that? Perhaps this problem is specific to office 2000 and later versions have fixed this problem.
