Sure Microsoft included VFP in Visual Studio, but if you look at most of their marketing information, and for instance, this months edition of Interactive Developer, which highlights VS6.0, They don't Even mention VFP. Thats right with the advent of active documents and saving everything as HTML, VFP is not even mentioned. Go figure. Microsoft is aware of VFP developers only because we are so vocal. Microsoft will never market or push VFP the same way it does with C++ of VB. But again that is just my opinion.
