I tried to create a database within VS 2008 last night and it was looking for SQL Server 2005 Express. I've got both SQL Server 2005 SQL Server 2008 loaded. It was looking for the Express version of SQL Sever 2005.

I did the following:

(1) RIght clicked on app_data folder
(2) Selected Add New Item...
(3) Selected SQL Server Database
(4) Error: "Connections to SQL Server Files (*.mdf) require SQL Server 2005 Express" to function properly. Can I install the Express Edition for 2005 side by side without interfering with the existing SQL Server 2005 and 2008 editions? Is that what I must do in order to get this process to create SQL Server Databases?

(Hey, I miss doing FoxPro work.)
