>I tried to create a database within VS 2008 last night and it was looking for SQL Server 2005 Express. I've got both SQL Server 2005 SQL Server 2008 loaded. It was looking for the Express version of SQL Sever 2005.

I create databases in SQL Management Studio rather than in VS. You can use Server Explorer to connect to and examine them in VS after they exist.
