That would still raise prices but I'm not sure you can tax anything at the prescription/purchase level. Besides that, I really dislike the tax idea completely because most of the medical prescriptions are for cancer patients. It just seems plain WRONG to add a tax for patients already suffering.

But it's marijuana, and the war on drugs (*) has told us they are all bad, and therefore we all know that this medicinal thing is just a lame excuse to get one of those semi-legalized - but it should have a sin tax on it (or syntax?... mmm).
