Interesting, I did not try to work with Vfp9 w/o MSXML 4.0 yet (because I agree with Sergey, assuming that there is more than one thing in the IDE requiring it). Will you post your results?

Same here, Win7 "feels" fast, and does not appear to get slower after a few months.

The built-in "Windows Defender" is not a full "anti virus" tool, MS says. Since its big brother MS "Security Essentials" is quite new, I'm using it in a few virtual test machines only; I'll probably wait and read articles until it gets a little more mature.
