>>>Hi,

>>>I noticed that when installing VS 2005 on a Win 7 computer, the installer wants to place it in the folder
>>>C:\Program Files (x86)\. On XP this VS was installed in C:\Program Files\. Is (x86) to indicate that this version of VS was developed for 32 bit OS? Should I remove the (x86) from the folder name (I kind of don't like to have parenthesis in the folder name).

>>>TIA.

>Yes, my Windows 7 is 64 bit. But I still hope that my VS 2005 will be working on this Windows 7 PC. Thank you.
