I use QBFC to connect to QuickBooks, post items or run queries and then close connection.

To do this you need to install the QBFC installer on any pc running your software - it comes are part of the SDK.

I would warn you that QuickBooks is NOT speedy, you need to be carefull how you structure your queries. You also need to keep your opening and closing of QuickBooks to a minimum as that is a slow part of the process.

I store all my transactions into a single VFP table ready to sychronise with QuickBooks and then let the users run a Synch routine when the want.
