I have been hacking the boot.ini file in my xp install. I now have a menu but I can't get win7 to boot. I am guessing what the syntax should be. I am not sure what rdisk()? Anyone have an idea what I did wrong?
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer
multi(0)disk(1)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows 7 Premium" /fastdetect

Everything I have read talked about creating another partition but I can't seem to find anything about using another drive. The install is done but I can only boot XP. I located the boot.ini file on C: driver but I am not sure that will work. Any ideas on how to fix this?
