I went on an elk hunt in Colorado once and it got down to -25. We were camping out, but we didn't really get cold because we prepared for it. You could spit and it would freeze before it hit the gound. And, yes your breath freezes on your mustache or beard. Even with weather that cold, I liked it. I'd rather have to prepare for that than deal with 100+ weather with mosquitoes, flys, snakes and spiders. When it's below 32, you don't have those critters to deal with.
