Kevin's 1-2 year old laptop might be a great deal. I am not in the market (2 desktops, 2 laptops, and a Mac already in the house) but if I were here I would talk to him about it. From things he says here I know he is a hardware nut so I doubt it's underpowered. He's probably swapping because something even more powerful came along.

Thanksgiving weekend I took my younger daughter to a nearby Apple store to get her iPhone looked at. (She sweet talked them into a free replacement, even though the problems with the old one started when she dropped it in the bathtub, LOL). I was looking at the new 27 inch iMacs and practically got weak in the knees.
