We've been hearing about this too. Some questions:

1) Someone said it still requires SQL Server on a server to function. Anyone know about this?

2) How would this work with vfp? There doesn't seem any point to replacing local machine vfp data with a more complex interface...

3) Also, what might the cost be, is it anything similar to the server version per-user license? Or would this come standard with Office-Prof., maybe?
