>It's worth every penny. Not only do you get everything that's already been mentioned, but upgrades several weeks before they're generally available (I got VS 6.0 in early August). Plus you get the betas, and more documentation than you'll know what to do with< s >. Also you get a 10 SQL server, etc.
A quick FYI - VS 6.0 Enterprise includes the same backOffice 10 user license now, but it doesn't include the MSDN, updates, Office or betas. The pricing on a VS 6.0 Enterprise is within a couple of hundred dollars of a yearly Universal subscription, OTOH, if you already had VS 97 Enterprise, the cost of the VS 6 Enterprise upgrade was just under $1100 - or about $700 cheaper at list. If you look at it as a one-time purchase without the updates and MSDN benefits, the VS upgrade gets you close.
But I agree with you - I've had a Universal Subscription since it started, and wouldn't drop it now, either.
