Search speed is really slow
Environment versions

Windows 2003 Server
Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me. I have a customers application that they have been using for 3 years, over the last 6 months searching data searches have gotten very slow. The data is located on a Windows 2003 server, the largest table is on 8 meg. When a single user is accessing the data the search takes less then 2 seconds, however if more then one person is in the database the searches can take up to 45 seconds.
I have tried:
1) Reindexing the tables
2) Deleting and recreating the indexes
3) Using Gendbc to recreate the dbc, indexes and tables and copied in the data
None of this has had any effect. The searches are on indexed fields and I am using a browse for command to do the search.
If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You very much
Rich
