Hi Tore, thanks for replying.
I must say I agree that that is a very impressive record.
Our app is installed typically in sites that have a server , and perhaps 15 pc's
In some sites, we never get a corruption, but in one speciifc site it has happened
2 times ober the last 3 weeks, and it is a critical site.
In other sites , over the years , it happens infreqqiently, but seems to be neraly always
as a result of a server or Pc going down.
I suspect it maybe Power issues, but the customer is adamant that there are no problems with power.
It could also be a faulty PC
It could be a network problem
It could also be my App ??(although unlikely)
When it does happen, it just seems to be the Header on the DBC/DBF is the problem and no data ACTUALLY gets
corrupted, but I have to run the repair utility manually anyway.
What I am looking for is someway of running this repair automatically as in
If BadTable('MYTABLE') && I already have BadTaBle working
Repair(MyTable)
Endif
regards,
Gerard
>Yes, they have, but our system is well written so it has never caused any corruption. Never, period. If you don't believe me, then that's your problem.

>>>Oh yes, daily. And it's a pretty advanced system. But we do take precaution, for instance all users must have his/her own UPS.
