>>Remember how a few months ago everyone was getting those scam phone calls for car warranties? Well now there is another one that's calling about credit cards! The car warranty ones finally stopped after they called a senators cell phone one too many times...wonder how long this one will go on. Apparently the car one was making around 120,000 calls per DAY. the number that's called me was 616-597-4022 - I suppose I should contact the FCC and complain.

I'm getting those on my cell phone, and never answering. I usually google them up, and they regularly turn out to be scammers.

Last year it was from a local number, some sales outfit was hired to pimp the services of another local company. I sent a very angry message to the company (they seemed so eager to get any publicity at all, so they had real emails of the top staff - which was probably all the staff they had) and promised to blog them to death if I ever get another phone call.

The only success of badvertisers is that they are still in business, without anyone bothering to serve them tar and feathers.
