Many people think the Invalid Seek Offset is somehow related to indexes because the word seek is in there and sometimes a bad index can cause one.
In fact, the Invalid Seek Offset is related to VFP trying to address a memory location that is an invalid address. So ti can be caused by a bad index file, or anything else that makes VFP seek into memory and encountering a problem with the address.
