Hi Jerry...
For more info Check out the 'New' Section and the Posts from the last 5 days.
A few of us have been been banging our heads on this problem. So far here's
a synopsis of what I found...
Something in Windows is messing up the Setup of VFP Distributables. I have
a Dual Boot Windows NT / Windows 95 Machine. I have ONLY VFP 6.0 installed
on my Windows NT Machine (No Office, Outlook, etc...) and create my
Distributables from there. I can ONLY create working NETSETUP
Executables. If I try for a diskette based approach then I get
a myriad of errors including yours.
Microsoft is releasing a SP for Visual Studio 6, but this problem
is not addressed in the notes. This info can be found at:

do the same...
Thanx,
Bob :-)
>I just 'finished' my first VFP6 exe and cannot get it to install on the users machine. The setup initializes and goes through a couple forms then comes up with the following messagebox

>Setup Error 824

> Your Setup files may be damaged. Try restarting the Setup program from where you originally ran it.
