>I agree with your assessment. Where we may disagree is how important it is to be a #1 seed.

>Normally, I agree, the overall #1 seed might not be a big deal. But in this situation, KU doesn't have to go any further than Oklahoma City and St Louis (until the final 4). Big advantage to KU in that situation.

>Mike, don't get me wrong, Kentucky is a great team. But KU has far more experience...Sherron Collins is a senior, and has played in the Elite 8, Title Game, and Sweet 16 so far....Cole Aldrich has played in the title game and Sweet 16. Far, far, more experience.

>In many KU road wins, they are "outplayed" (or turn the ball over excessively) for 35 minutes....then for 5 minutes go on a scorching run. In the A&M game the other night, KU switched to 2-3 zone and went on a 21-2 run. I've seen KU do that all year long. When KU plays their best, no one in the country can beat them.

Well, that's why they play the games anyway ;-)

I watched the Kentucky - Mississippi State game. (From late first half, anyway; I completely blanked on the time change). Kentucky did not play nearly their best yet still pulled the game out against a good team. They didn't have that much to play for and Miss. State did. The announcers kept saying they are on the bubble. I hope they make it because I don't believe there are 40 or so at-large teams better than them.
