It wouldn't matter. When the house had the supermajority they could have passed anything they wanted that didn't go against the constitution and bill of rights, but they couldn't do it. That had nothing to do with the Republicans but only the inability of the dems to come to a consensus among themselves. The Republicans could rant until the cows come home but they didn't have the votes to stop a bill passing if the Dems wanted it to happen. This is entirely on the Dems. I'm dissappointed in them. Heck, I've been disappointed in both for so long it's hard to tell which side is worse!
