>>Hi Charles.

>>>Funny you should say that about the Data Deployment Toolkit - my first reaction - and that of a lot of Fox people - was "Hey, that's Stonefield for SQL" <s>

>>As you know, the Microfour guys were long-time VFP developers and SDT users. They approached me about my plans to do a version of SDT for SQL Server and when I told them I wasn't planning to do so, they asked me if it was OK if they used the SDT methodology in creating their toolkit. Although they certainly didn't have to, I thought it was very decent of them to ask. Definitely good guys.

>Yeah, Steve Taylor told me about that. They *really* would have liked to have you on board. <g> Still would.I've been trying to convince them they need DBCX2 - or at least to extend the metadata store in DDT - but of course they have a lot on their plate and I haven't yet quite figured out how well the concepts would translate in .NET - Sure is cool in VFE though.

I miss the non-default properties option in .NET as well as VB 6. Oh well, can't have everything....
