This app successfully runs under Windows for Workgroups, Windows NT, and Windows 95 (our Tech services group indicate they make changes to CONFIG.SYS and CONFIG.WIN files). However, Windows 98 reports that there are not enough file handles when half way through opening the tables.

Under Win95 and WIn98, the maximum number of active file handles is controlled by the FILES= statement in the CONFIG.SYS, and has a maximum value of 254.

Use of Novell's real-mode or Client32 drivers changes this; settings for files accessed from Novell servers in controlled by the Novell configuration files, and is always deducted from the maxim,um total file count.
