No normaly FTP files. I never touch the BLOCKSIZE (just lazy to read up on it). If you say it will reduce this problem, i'll investigate this matter.

You can minimize it to some degree by looking at the SET BLOCKSIZE command which controls how FoxPro stores the data in the file and when it needs to move a growing memo to another location in the file.
