You may have noticed the Asimov quote I've had in my sig for over 10 years. I believe violence is an indication of incompetence.

However, I also believe no-one is perfect, so no-one is competent 100% of the time.

Therefore, from time to time, violence is necessary.

That said, I believe maximizing competence and minimizing violence are worthy goals.
