I think the wholesale robbery is just starting, or at least the latest wave of it. Just look at the number of things happening at the same time: the number of countries where austerity measures are proposed and/or introduced; the overall mantra of humanity being the cancer on the planet, all sorts of social Darwinism and masked eugenics running to the point where women are sterilized without even knowing, some entity in Italy is paying $5000 to any woman who wants to abort a pregnancy; the whole ecology movement is turned upside down and now the ordinary people are blamed for everything while the corporations are somehow out of the picture; the debt created by predatory banking is sacrosanct and permanent, and somehow all of it has to be repaid with all the interest and fines, while the contract between governments and their citizens is becoming less worth than the paper it was printed on... and now the situation with Gaza will be used to somehow stir up many more countries into spending on weapons instead of their own people.

It goes on and on. And it's not as with a private loan, where you have a choice to take it or not; it's your country that's wasting all that money and pouring it into private pockets, and expecting you to pay and pay, forever. Bloodsucking.
