It has been my thinking for quite some time that using stored procedures was a best practice and often a requirement. Now with Linq, how is this practice affected?

Hi Cetin,

I appreciate your input. Since I mostly use a framework, I have not used L2S as I was waiting for EF. Now I am trying to put together my entire thinking process for best practice in using EF, SQL, and Linq. It may take a bit to figure it all out. Microsoft seemed a bit fickled in this area but I like the idea of the EF so will probably focus on EF plus Linq. The only question is if I should be dropping the SP's.
Thanks again
Tim
