I'm having a simular problem. I have a Cyrix 200 that runs fine on Win 95. When I upgrade to Win 98 it starts rebooting everytime I try to access the cd drive. It does this even when only doing a dir on a cd. The cd is a "Liteon" 32x. Thier web site says to use the drivers that come with Windows for 95 and doesn't say anything about 98. When I did the uninstall for Win 98 everything went back to normal.
