I hope is is not reinstated. First, he committed a blatant violation of this site's terms, Second, a fundamental of recovery is realizing that you will have to change your playground and your playmates to be successful. Mike has proven time and again that he needs to be doing something else besides hanging out here. While I agree that isolation is not helpful, it may be necessary for a time (with proper support from other recovering folks) to start making the changes in his life that he needs to get the monkey off his back.

We can't "recover" him, but we certainly shouldn't be enabling either.
