While I do not think that your idea of middle class is right (but this an other topic) ask the poor about there losses.
But never mind, we see the first wave only. It will be harder if times passes by. There is no further need for the capitalists to dribble some wealth over the rest. It will need some times and we will hear a lot of reasons about the necessities. (Say "We need to pay the bill for bankers by our taxes". We don't pay the bankers, we transfer our income to the owners of the bank, nothing else)
Conclusion? If you don't believe in central messages of popular religion, live your live now. It will be worst sooner or later. But this is true all the time.
