PMFJI, but I recently posted in another thread on this. I converted two small apps from 5 to 6 (beta):

1) Was great. Faster and generally has a smoother feel to it in 6.

2) Did not go well. Would not open views automatically, lost it's toolbar, and is extremely sluggish in 6. Grid refreshing or view requerying (not sure which one yet) is something like 10 times slower in 6...will definitely require some recoding...could be that SQL Where bug I've seen in another thread...

Anyway, there are a few problems in 6...I'd go ahead and start a new app in it, they'll likely have patches out before you're done anyway. But thoroughly test any 5 to 6 conversions before releasing, and don't rush it, is my experience...
