Also, when this happens, you can pass the mouse over the same button or the 'X' and they will "depress" again. You still have to click it again for the button to fire, though. Oh.. I see what you are saying now... Yes.. I have seen that happen to, and not just with VFP... I think like you said, if you move the mouse off the object just enough the mouse up is missed, and It seems like the system will think your mouse is down untill you click it again. Looks like an OS or mouse driver bug.
