In Visual Studio 2008 if I choose New Project from the file menu and then in the New Project dialog when I click on C# on the left side I get ASP.Net Web Application on the right. If I go down to Other Languages and click on VB, I get the same thing.

My version of Visual Studio is Visual Studio 2008 Team Systems Version 3.5 SP1 I previously had VS Pro and also had this option. And it still exists in VS2010 as well. I am not sure why you are not seeing this. You might get a VS command prompt and run devenv /setup
