This causes Citrix to resend the entire screen everytime a textbox changes its value. With the deve tools that use windows objects Citrix only sends the changed control for display.

Thanks for your fast answer.

In fact i am currently deploying a C/S VFP app using Sybase Anywhere. It runs smartly on the main office LAN.

As we know need to deploy the app to a series of local entities i was considering to advise a citrix server to improve service and ease deployment. I understand we have to drop this alternative.

From what you say we will have to stick to classical ODBC based C/S traffic. The wan runs 64k dedicated lines. From your experience, is this bandwith typically good enough for VFP based C/S app?
