That's why I phrase it as "where do you draw the line?"
Religious beliefs?
Political beliefs?
Lifestyle?
Prior criminal activities?
????? Tell you what - let's throw race into the mix.
If I recall, the woman who sued the university is black/African American. Now, I can honestly say I don't have a racial bone in my body...but that's not true of everyone. Blacks were oppressed in this country for a very long time. What I find ironic is that this woman is African American....she refused to offer counseling to homosexuals....got fired....and sued the university.
(Now, before anyone jumps on me, I wouldn't consider a white woman who refused to offer counseling as any more, or any less, reprehensible...but I do find this specific situation to be filled with irony)
