If we have an EXE sitting somewhere as a Service. Would there be a possiblity to have it auto update in patch mode? We have looked at this from several perspectives. One approach was to have a secondary EXE to monitor if an update is required on our main module, download, stop it, update EXE and restart the service. Is this a conventional way of doing this? The ideal would be to have only the EXE itself and being able to use an auto update in patch mode.
