Hi Jeff,

When illustrating how ADO works - I no longer use VFP as a data store - nor do I use the OLE-DB Provider for ODBC - except to demo that you can connect to things like SQL Server, etc. For read-only access - sure - VFP stuff can be accessed. As far as the multi-dimensional stuff goes - I don't think VFP supports any of that as far as a DB engine goes.

Apparently, there will be a new version of ADO with OLE DB 2.0 along with the roll-out of SQL Server 7.0 at Comdex. This is very cool stuff and I am wondering to what extent it will be supported by VFP and to what extent the SQL Server 7.0 Repository will support the VFP ODBC because, from what I have seen, it doesn't as of yet.
