Many of us read many books that are NOT about VFP but are about teh development process, or about Object Oriented Analysis and Design, or Relational database design. Even books focused on other development tools are helpful. The point is to first understand the concepts behind the process, then you can apply those ideas to whatever tool you choose to use.
