It is very easy to run the server on your own computer and it might make what you are doing very easy. The only issue you might have is once you find out how easy it is to use you will want to dump Ms Sql gd&r.
Thanks for the info, but I think I will have to use the exact driver version as supplied with the original version purchased a few years ago. The tech insisted on phone I should take that route.
